What is the process to become a notary in Louisiana?
1. To become a notary in Louisiana, applicants must meet all eligibility requirements.

- Be a resident of Louisiana
- Be a registered voter in the parish in which you're applying
- Be able to read, write and speak English
- Have no prior convictions of a felony and not been pardoned
- Have a high school diploma or state-approved home study program, or successfully completed the GED test
